yes, if its hooked to the ps pump then it have wither p/s fluid or atf in it.

no thats fine the way it is. it has a outer "wear sheild" to keep the line from rubbing on other parts a wearing a hole thru it. as for the leak, is it power steering fluid? or is just a oil leak elsewhere dripping on the line and moving down the line?
