With a fresh engine like yours i would skip the catch can. I have about 2500 miles on mine and theres zero blowby. Nothing in the pcv or charge pipes.

I think it would be beneficial. If a wheel has a slight imbalence, more give will cause it to occilate and fatigue quicker.if the bearings can handle that i would think.it would last longer.

The MR2/Celica guys are reporting very low failure rates with this turbo even at ~22 psi. If it does blow it might hurt the cat but a ct26 turbine can be used as a replacement.
