you can cut the urathane/vinyle cover section out as thats just the looks part, a razor blade will do that. but the metal bar is what takes the impact in a crash.
no on my neo, at high idle im at 13.8v, at low idle im getting 12.8. mind you everytime i hit my brakes my dash light go off, need to work on that one.
belts in good shape? are you pulleys stock or do you have a under drive?
hmmmmm yours is a lot worse than mine. mine is just an occasinal pop till warm. almost sounds like an exaust leak at the muffler end.
have you double checked your timing?
i looked at my axle tag on my supra, which is G285. according to my toyota axle sheet, the G series axles are 8 inch.
the mk2 supra has the F series diff, which is 7.5. the mk3 has the 8 inch diff.
