    Do I need it?

Where did you get the snake skin loom from and what size did you use?

    Race Ready 7M

LOL! The misfire up top can be the CPS. If you are going to go with an AEM, do a cam and crank sensor setup and get rid of the stock CPS. $3,025.00 for what?

    1JZ Build..HKS...Greddy..ACT..Chrome..You Might Like It.Dont Hate :)

Once again, HKS has let me down. They said that I would have the cam by the end of this week and tomorrow is Thursday. Only way I will get the cams is if they get it tomorrow or Friday from customs and ship it to me express mail. I did pay for their express shipping service which was supposed...

    Hot tanking & bearings question

How did you know they were good? You check the stretch on them? I like to replace those things, then again, Ian says I have OCD with all the questions I send him having my motor on still on the stand. :-/

    Hot tanking & bearings question

Why not, it doesn't make sense. You have head studs, rod bolts and you will leave out the mains? How come?

    Hot tanking & bearings question

Ok. Are you doing ARP mains on the bottom end with ARP rod bolts?

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

Get the braided hose away from the manifold and you can get a sleeve for it if you can't help routing it. You should also wrap the manifold in heat wrap, less heat in the engine bay is always a good thing.

Getting close to the actual swap! Few questions

You will be happy if you get that clutch. I always rev match, no problem to me, if you drive in NY traffic, you get used to it.

Getting close to the actual swap! Few questions

Yes. On their site is the links to them. Anything that can be done yo avoid stress on the crank is a good thing. I plan on doing a 2JZ build and will be using billet mains along with having everything spun balanced along with a main girdle with L19 hardware. Sure, it will cost a pretty penny...

I paid a little over a grand for my OS Giken. Well worth it.

Heat in that area will kill that sensor. If you want, you can have a fitting in the block, then a hose made and hydraulically clamped to move the sensor to the intake side and mount it on the firewall behind the engine. There are a lot of 10MM bolts there to make a bracket to hold the sensor...

This is the reason I bought my OS Giken. Less stress on the crank is always good.

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

If you want, you can change it and get hydraulic hoses made to avoid any leaks. It does look good right now the way it is, but if it leaks, you know what you are going to do.

You know you're a Supra owner when...

When you get happy to see carbon fiber trim parts being made. :)

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

Get an adapter like the 7M, 1JZ and 2JZ guys do. A 16x1.5 thread male end to the AN feed size you need for the turbo. Example, an 16x1.5 to a -4AN male end. Just a suggestion, not saying your choice is wrong or bad.

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

How come you decided to use a banjo fitting instead of a compression fitting on the block? Thanks.

    BorHor's RHD 2JZ MK3 Build Thread.

They have a nine inch wheel with a +35 offset but that is too small to run those size tires. O well, I am keeping my Volks then.

    BorHor's RHD 2JZ MK3 Build Thread.

What tires you think would fit good on the front and rear rims? 265 in the front 295 in the rear? Maybe 315?
