    Why?

I know Devin, nice one ehh? Just torque it down to 36ft/lbs if the block is being bored.

    fuel system ?

Charcoal canister is there to absorb gas fumes. Heat and gas fumes don't mix.....

    Why?

It needs to be torqued to 36ft/lbs. It will make the first cylinder an oval if not bored with it. If you are not boring the block, just bolt the timing plate on.

1JZGTE Build, need help, shooting for 450 to wheels

Yes you will need an intercooler kit. You will not reach that power on a stock intercooler.

    Race Ready 7M

Yes, that would be the good thing to do right now. Is the gear shaking on the other CPS?

    Race Ready 7M

Now the 3,025 makes sense. It will bring more power and solve your problems as well, assuming he does a cam and crank setup like Duane has.

Good call on getting new CPS from Toyota.

    Duane in Import Tuner

I got ripped off at the Chinese stand. Asked for import tuner, didn't check the date and I got a July 2010 issue! I wasn't too mad though since it had SP's twin turbo setup Supra in it. :D

    New 7M Install

Did you tell them to mount the plate and then mill the block? Did you tell them about the tensioner as well? What do you mean no load on the block from the mains? Usually, using an American machine shop does not end too well. Some know the import stuff but most don't. You have to know if...

1JZGTE Build, need help, shooting for 450 to wheels

A 67 for your goals will give more lag than fun. I am going for 600 to the wheels so my 67MM with headwork, cams and a QSV will help spool and keep that turbo pull until redline. A 6262 will be sufficient for you and with a .70 A/R will be good. The DriftMotion 60-1 T4 with a .70 A/R will...

    BorHor's RHD 2JZ MK3 Build Thread.

I have been doing some looking around. Finally found a rim I like, 18x9.5 +35 for the rear. What's the largest tire I could fit, 285? Will I have to roll the fenders? The first picture is nice, you should post that in Kenny's Calendar thread.

Getting close to the actual swap! Few questions

Mine still had the ridges on the inside as well. All were in spec and actually in the middle, not on the far end which would indicate a lot of wear.

Getting close to the actual swap! Few questions

LOL! If you don't know how to do it, you will grind every gear. If you want to see my shynchkro after six years, I can show you. That was with a six puck and rev matching all the time. My synchros looked like new. Here are pictures.

Getting close to the actual swap! Few questions

Don't worry about the price, I have the second one on the page. You can find them cheaper. A member in here sold one of them used for $900 and these clutches used are still good unlike buying a standard single disk used...
