Yup, should work just fine. Does it have an LSD sticker on it? Would be even better...

    89 auto differential

You said you can push the car while its in park? That's the diff. If the trans. was out, park would still engage, its a pin that locks the trans., and keeps it from moving. Check the 4 sale/wanted section, and get a diff with whatever gearing you think would best fit your needs. Iirc, stock...

    Weird jump.

Don't think either of those would cause a misfire. You don't need to take it to a shop to check for codes, you can do it your self: http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/TechTips/engine_error_codes.aspx As CRE mentioned, oil in the plug galley is very common, and would cause a random misfire. Could also...

    Pacesetter Headers

OBX are stainless, mandrel bent tubes. Pacesetter are painted, mild steel. The Pacesetter's will rust, the OBX never will. Both require some modifying, but I personally prefer the OBX, I have them now. One of the sponsors sells the OBX already modified, I think its horsepowerfreaks, but not...

    Overheating!!!

Lol, I love it. He drove it till it quit, but the motor could be ok because it started and ran "fine." I haven't seen that one yet. I've seen bhg's, melted pistons, cracked heads, bent and burnt valves, all kinds of shit from people driving a car they know is running hot. I have yet to see...

    Overheating!!!

Back on topic, though, I think the best option for the O.P. would be to get a motor from one of these importers, and get it rebuilt. Then get new timing belt, water pump, t.stat., have radiator checked and cleaned(if not getting a new one), and replace all the hoses. Check under the hood...

    Overheating!!!

Ummm, he drove it until it quit, with white smoke pouring out of the engine bay. Yeah, it MIGHT be salvageable, but it is definitely not in good working order. It quit because it seized up. He got lucky that he was able to start it again after adding some water and letting it cool down, but...

    Overheating!!!

Don't sweat it (well, maybe a little), you're not the first, and won't be the last. Do a search for "rebuilding motor," there's a few detailed ones. You could also check somewhere like here: https://www.tigerjapanese.com/index.php?cPath=43 If you're motor can't be rebuilt, you might get one...

    Overheating!!!

Get a new motor. You've already blown the head gasket, and warped the head pretty good. Wouldn't be surprised if its cracked somewhere. The rings can only take so much heat before they seize in the pistons, and stop sealing the cylinders, especially if you drove it until it quit. The oil is...

    car shifts at 3500

How did it get wet? If you stuck a water hose in the back of the harness connector with the key on or engine running, it would be possible to short it out. Test it like this: http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=101

    SUPRA NOT STARTING !

Leaving the fog lights on killed the battery. When you jumped it off instead of getting the battery charged, the alternator had to work to hard to charge a completely dead battery, which killed it as well. Replace both, and don't leave your lights on ;)

    car shifts at 3500

Run a zip tie through the wires on the back of the connector(don't pinch them), and around the tps. That'll hold the plug on. I circled it in the pic.

    1990 no idle

You mean you don't think water in the cylinders won't effect how your vehicle runs/idles? Fix it first, then get to the idle problem, if you have one.

    supra weight

Rear seat and back doesn't weigh very much, and neither does the spare. Mow, if you removed say, 300 lbs. + from the rear, and left the front heavy, you might have issues. You want to take most of the weight you can out of the front and center of the car. Maybe this will help...
