89 Mustang 5.0 02 Sensor.
Three wires. There will be two black wires, those are for the heater. The signal wire is white.
Splice these into the stock O2 sensor plug. Avoid cutting up your harness, take the old plug off the old 02 sensor and wire the Mustang wires to it. The blue wire off...
No problem
Ditch the W58 and get a R154. You can use a W58 by getting a W58 to 1JZ trans bellhousing. You should get a R154 to start off with because it will be cheaper since it won't break when you start doing simple upgrades.
You will not need to change the oil pan if you get a 1JZ from...
So if you set it in high with the temp at 75, you still get cold air?
I would assume your blend door is not opening at the lower levels to allow the warm air through. Do the other blower settings work, the ones that direct the air where you want it?
You should get an aftermarket gauge as the stock on is not that accurate. Prosport have some good gauges and they are on my old Supra. I just chose Autometer this time since they can activate certain solenoids if I wanted them to.
Can you check codes?
Cam and crank sensor replaced?
TPS adjustment?
With that said, I have started JZ motors without the TPS input and it has very little effect to how it runs. It is a speed density based system so the main load indicator is the MAP sensor. What about the IAT sensor?
What...
I have seen no problem with stock keepers with stock valves. If you plan on getting new valves, call BC. I once needed a valve for a 1JZ head BEFORE they started to sell them and they actually said they would make a custom order since it is similar to the 2JZ valve.
Give BC and Ferrera a...
Sweet.
Hey Grim, the hatch antenna, is it a separate plug? I will pull the radio out this week. Just want to know. The two wires that are on the hatch toward the driver side that heat the defogger are separated on mine. Anyway to reattach it?
Anyone know the color of the wires that are used to send up the stock antenna using an aftermarket radio? I heard of a piece that you can plug in the back where the antenna cable would go and it would sit behind the radio and pick up the radio signals. Not sure how true that is.
The R154 uses a simple gear for reverse without a synchro. So when you are trying to get into reverse, you are actually meshing two gears without the aid of a synchro.
What makes it easier is what is posted above my post. Put it into any other gear, I use first, then let the car move forward...
