Hitting bottom of car? Carrier bearing. Check the rubber on it for cracks. They are $120 new and about $35 to install at a driveshaft shop.. at least what it costed me for one. Mine was doing that and wasn't visibly broken, until i really looked and saw it was cracked and split in the rubber
The hammer on a pole noise?
U-joint almost 99% sure. Thats the noise my car makes, also with a noticeable viabration at speeds over 55. You can take my driveshaft and shake it lol.. I hope it lasts another few days til i get my replacement!
yeah, thats what an idle adjustment screw does. The factory one isn't long enough to set idle on its own, so just buy a longer bolt at the hardware store and done.
The factory screw is just for fine tuning with the idle motor. My 93 had a problem of idling too low with the AC on.. a quick...
I'm not sure how much I paid anymore, this was summer of last year. It was over a grand.
Plus they have a great no questions asked warranty.
If i had to do it all over again I would have just purchased a PT72GTS
I set my idle to 1500. With a 3in turbo back exhaust and a blown out apexi muffler, it sounds good :)
Get a longer screw for the throttle body adjustment at any hardware store and pick up a piece of aluminum stock while your at it
It's for the cars. In a state well known for cars only built by shops, it spread quickly that I built my car myself with no outside help and I'm not certified in anything except how to be a nitpicking asshole towards modified cars :) Someone probably said something and so on and so on.
Your in NSB? Sweet! I used to surf the inlet for 6 years straight. Now i live in Sanford.
If they are tirerack rims and tires pre filled.. I'd send em back.
