You'll never find an ECU unless you buy one new if it's missing. As far as the wiring goes, it will be a PITA, but theres a few VVTI 1JZ sc300's floating around, its not too bad. Yes, the rods break at around 400whp.

Chaser ECU's in Soarer swaps seem to yeild a little more power too. The Chaser was the fastest car Toyota offered in Japan.

Soarers seem to put down more whp on twins due to the GEN 2 design and whatever ECU changes were made since they are newer by 2-5 years.

It was cheap, only $495 plus shipping. I was single when I bought it, if you work a job that makes more then $10/hr, that's easy money.
