    small electric fan?

Yup. It's the condensor fan. I take it you have an 87-88, as the later models have 2 there, as seen in the following link. http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=AC&P=8

Injectors not firing. HELP!!! After BHG job

Cool, thanks for the link. You always come up with the coolest tools :) That would make testing relays a lot easier. I've tried a couple different probes like that for injection and spark off the tool truck, but never had good luck with them. They would get to much interference, and not...

    Sawblade stripping

Meh, I just stripped off the worn clear coat, buffed them out, washed them, and recleared them. Looked as good as new, and didn't have to worry about polishing them all the time to keep them from getting dull.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. Felpro makes head bolts for most applications that meet or exceed manufacturers specifications. Not sure if they do for the Supra, but your local parts store will be able to get them if they do. Not as good as ARP, but they'll be cheaper than the dealer, and just...

Injectors not firing. HELP!!! After BHG job

You can get a universal noid light at a local parts store pretty cheap. Handy to have if you want to check for injector pulse.

    Misfiring/No power in low RPM's

Wow, that's strange. I don't think the coil should have any power to it with the ignition off. The wire lengths are shortest to longest, but you need to have the order on the cap correct. Cheap wires are a problem. Do yourself a favor, and get some good ones. MSD wires work really well. I...

You measure them, look for pulled threads. Like I said earlier, I torqued them to 70 ft. lbs., which they will handle easily. It's N/A, not a 500 hp. turbo build.... This car doesn't use TTY bolts. All the cars I've worked on that do, use a different torque sequence. It will be something...

Here's where the TSRM details installing the head. http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=EM&P=55 I don't see where it says to use new bolts?

    New Dyno #'s

meh, I should get close. The port job is pretty intense. I matched the intake to the head, and the upper and lower intake runners are matched as well. I didn't go as far as you with the stroker kit, but I think I'll find a bit more power by making the head breathe as smoothly as possible...

    New Dyno #'s

That's a 2jz you linked to. I figure with a good intercooler, 600cc injectors, maftpro, and a good turbo header on the afore mentioned n/a build, I should be able to hit 450+ easy. Yes, it will have forged rods and pistons. Guess I should start a build thread eventually...

    New Dyno #'s

You think its loud with no muffler, try running it with an open header. Yikes!! I'm hoping to hit around 250 hp., and around the same in tq. on this current n/a build. There's also this T70 turbo laying around in my shop, wonder what I should do with it? ;)

    How to fill/flatten side mouldings?

I've thought about removing the side mouldings, and replacing them with sheet metal, in such a way as I'd only have to feather in the edges with body filler. I'd want to use the stock mounting locations, and epoxy the top and bottom edges. As much filler as it would take to fill over the stock...

wchico15: A wire wheel in a drill would actually work pretty well for cleaning the block deck, just don't stay in one place. Keep constantly moving until its all clean. You should run a tap down the head bolt holes as well, to remove any corrosion that may be there. Blow out all the holes...

Just to mill it, around $40. To check it for cracks, clean it, valve job, etc., costs more. Manually cleaning the block should be fine, as long as the deck isn't severely pitted. I wouldn't take sandpaper to it, as its possible to create low spots. A scraper should get you by just fine. If...

lol, what a duesche bag :) ... Insults aside, Craftsman makes good tools for the homeowner. Home Depot carries Husky, which is made by the same people, and has a lifetime warranty as well, for around 2/3 the price. Get all your sockets, wrenches, ratchets and such at H.D. Get your specialty...

Okay guys...I need help..ALOT of help

I have the Ford Contour dual electric fans. Low speed(resistor in the shroud) for thermal switch, high speed for A/C. Built into a shroud that covers over 95% of my radiator. Work very well, even in the 100+ degree weather we get here in the summer. On low speed, I can feel air flowing out...

    Engine issues?

Check with your local NAPA. There is usually one around that can test and clean injectors. Takes maybe 30 min.'s to get them out.
