if you have a 2jz ge then your fuel rail is top feed and you use 14mm injectors(import type). injectors from a 7mgte should work. you should double check resistance though not sure if 7m uses high or low
it wont make your af ratio richer. it allows you to run super lean af ratios at wot because it basically increases your octane rating. so you could be running 13(possibly more) a/f at wot safely and up the timing and still be safe.
my 1jz spins 285/40/17 tires on mk4 9.5" wide wheeels in 3rd sometimes on stock turbos running 16ish psi untuned. you gotta slam the pedal down at around 3k+ but it works =P
++1 for getting your ecu caps fixed. Why spend 6k on getting a new engine swapped when for 70 bucks you can get your ecu fixed. My eu went out and after getting it fixed I have had no issues
the IAC is such a pain in the ass(would leak under boost, erratic idle, vacuum leak)
i got so sick of mine and didnt want to buy a block off plate so I cramped the air intake tube shut and welded it closed and disconnected the plug.

Check your coilpacks, if your ecu is toast, it could be the culprit. your timing belt could be off a tooth. I dontthink you need to disconnect the harness to take off the manifold though
you can get away with not cutting the harness by pulling it through the enlarghed speedo hole( thats how i did it) however you will have to leave the ecu hanging in the glove box because it wont reach to the stock location.
(another option you can do is have an ecu extension harness made...
