they told me it was new.
the only hks i haven't seen is a grommet hks but im sure they all have an outer coating.
it is currently installed on there motor so i haven't seen it yet but i want to know if i should spray it with copper spray if it is bare.
a fellow supra owner told me there hks headgasket has bare metal on the outer layers and the black (viton) layer in the middle.
ever heard of this??
if it is this way when i go look at it, should i clean and copper spray it?

hes correct but i want to clarify the extension part.
extensions that are 90deg to the torque wrench do not change torque.

An extension (i.e. 90 degrees from face of torque wrench)... will not change the torque...

just got off the phone with elmhurst toyota but i didnt speak to curt.
i think you have to talk to him for any discount because this guy charged me $28 for all exhaust nuts.
