    The cheap usually ends up expensive!! It's $70......really dude. Economy is bad but not that bad. A little over $10the a stud and all you haveto do is take time. I did the DM kit and it worked fine. Just remember that first sentence.

    Not going to go the 2j vs 7m route soooo the questions should be is it worth my time and money. Since the 7m build took a long time (your words) how long will it take for a 1j or 2j swap? Then there's money. My bro n law spent about $5,500 for his 2j swap and that's with selllng some 1j parts...

    Lmao......i guess that can be an issue. I finally finished sanding it. Probably gonna call Rufus on my next two weeks off and see if i can get it painted or at least primmed. But that takin it apart may be a start of my therapy.

    I got some from Goodson.com . They got a whole setup of different sizes or you can buy singles.....of course the more you buy the cheaper they are per shim

    Nice sterlingae! I've been following your build thread. That is an aggressive stance on that car. Get a youtube vid up with it running and give us a taste on how it sounds...maybe a drive by (as us south east siders hit the dirt).

    Dammit.......i snapped the rear window trim!!!! The snaps were so brittle they just broke. Anyone know where to find those snap/brackets? They are the ones that hold the rear side window trim pieces.

    I have the engine back togerher. Going to rebuild turbo but dont know if im going to try it myself or send it out. I just need it to last until summer when i get a 57trim. I also decided to paint the car myself....well with Rufus's help that is. I have about a little less than half of the car...

    Hey Sterlingae, Do you know of a white supra off of hwy 21? I've seen one twice while going to work @ 3am. It's right before you get to the train tracks. It looks like a pre 89 and the front sits high as if it has no engine.
