    Hit a curb

Put a straight edge on all of the control arms. They all look straight according to the pics... Maybe you have some subframe damage. I just doubt frame damage as it is isolated twice with rubber and is also stronger than the control arms.

    Hit a curb

I can not see anything bent in those pictures. Views of the from of the rear suspension would be helpful. Basically, the weakest links in that sort of a collision are the "toe arm" and the "traction arm". They are both round tube lower control arms, one running perpendicular to the car and...

    Power steering question

The boot should have no fluid in it. No need to test for the leak. Obviously the gland seal of the rack cylinder is leaking. Either rebuild the rack or buy a remanufactured one.

    6 speed 7mgte anyone?

I think I have proved it fits the tunnel. However I had to work the tunnel with a mallet to make it fit.

    6 speed 7mgte anyone?

Your shifter is going to sit probably more than two inches back from factory location... I agree wither gixxer, 4.3 : 1 would be great.

    ? about wheel spacers

What is wrong with using spacers? Nothing. As with any part of working on a car you just need to know what you are doing. Your differential was engineered to use spacers, that is how it is mounted. Oh, and professional race cars such as ones found in NASCAR use spacers on the upper control...

    Heater Core problem

That looks like "electrical" corrosion to me.

    Driveability with no ISC valve?

Opening the hole back up is not a bad idea. However you could just adjust the throttle body to keep a certain amount open that will give ok idle quality.

    Tow Hooks!!!

Wow, the "frame rails" on the Supra are lucky to be 1/8 inch thick. I would like to know what drill bit won't easily drill through it... Likely though, since it does not sound like you are much of a fabricator you should probably just use the mounting bolts/holes for the factory hooks. It...

    Spark plug torque spec?

I can't beleive you didn't see the 7th post on the first page where I looked up and presented the 13 lb/ft torque specification on the spark plugs. And for the whole discussion. I fully understand the engineering aspect of torqueing a fastener properly. However from my experience and the...

    Spark plug torque spec?

Douchebags? I beleive you are referring to those who have mentioned you do not have to tighten spark plugs to a precise manufacturer's torque specification. Torque specifications are there for a reason however are inherently inaccurate. Actual clamping force of a fastener is not measured in...

    What Is This?

It is good to have the tow hook. Especially if you get pulled over and the cops tow your car for some reason. If the tow-trucker does not attach the restaints to the hook and damage occurs you can sue them. It is best to make sure the hook is extremely noticeable, have it contrast in color.

    SySt's Build up

I finally got around to grinding the CTS-V exhaust manifolds. The CTS-V manifolds work. I also took a pic of the engine bay as a whole showing my wiring progress...

    Spark plug torque spec?

By noone else, I mean in any shop I have worked in. By the way, looked up the torque spec on those spark plugs. It is 13 lb/ft.

    Spark plug torque spec?

Actually, if I remember right the torque spec on the spark plugs is about 23 lb/ft. I am a mechanic by profession. Neither me nor anyone else uses torque specs unless it regards engine internals or manifolds. Everything is as stated earlier "rule of thumb". Basically, experience.

Can the PS rack actually leak?

Can the steering rack it's self actually leak? Fuck yes. The rack is a hydraulic cylinder and any seal in any hydraulic system can leak. So yes if you find hyrdaulic fluid leaking from you rack you can very well be right.

How do you take off the wiper arms?

Ok, I was faced with the same issue when I removed my wipers. Just take the nut off each issue. Whatever you need to remove each wiper. Advance auto has a tool to do it. If you can not say to them you know Eric or Emily, do not accept the tool.

    Slow's build: Wheelie Bar Equipped

I want that lexan windshield. Did you make it yourself or have a shop make it? How much did it cost you either way?
