I just saw both threads, looking forward to both. I have 89+ trim on the back of my car, pre89 on the rest of it, and my mom totally destroyed the driver side trim piece with her door, so one day I'll be replacing it all with something new and matching. I'm partial to your idea with the pre89...

Most 35Rs are meant for T3 footprints...its an option to get them with a T4 footprint instead. That explains the "fun" that came extra as well. Sure makes me appreciate V-bands even more. If only they didnt cost so damn much. I'm curious..how much did all of this cost? Props for following...
