Would a TPS being out of Adjustment cause this?
As for the VF Signal, Ive tested this a Few times with my Multimeter and if it does anything at all, It will move a little bit between 0.00 and 0.02v at the check connector and this is with the car completely warm at 2500rpms. It does jump when...
This car is a MK2 with a 7MGTE so all the Snesors on the thermostat housing we dont use. Im running Electric fans also so I have a 185on/170off electric fan sending unit.
Found out that my car isnt going into closed loop. What causes this and is there anyway to correct this Issue. Sometimes It Idles just fine and then all of a Sudden it just drops to 10.0 on Wideband and starts to sputter and eventually shuts off. No VF Signal at all (0.00) after warmup or...
Im not tapped into OX, Im tapped into VF on the Engine harness and the MAFT Pro Purple wire off the 6 pin connector. VF is a Small gray wire, Middle harness, Bottom row, Third from the end.
I havent, On my AUX Imput 1 its reading 0.00 and flickers to 0.02, Im not getting anything else. Like I said before, When I reset the ECU (Disconnect the battery) and I put the power wire on a Accessories Switch, I turn the Key once I see 4.45 volts at the check connector and the MAFT Pro, As...
Did that, Now car run 10X better than before. Thanks for that Imput.
Now I need to figure out why Im not getting a VF signal Period, Ive checked at the Check connector and when the engine is complete warm, (30 Minutes) the VF signal from the Check Connector is 0.08 and just sits there. I...
Only way this setup will Idle to 15.5 without any Bumps or anything is I have to set the Mainscale to 20. I know that this isnt right but I wanted to Point this out. Still VF signal is not reading after 20 Minutes as engine is completely warm.
Ok, Well I got all the codes worked out except the code 43 which is the Starter Signal. Ive had that code for a long time and I just connect the Stock starter wire from the MK2. I dont think that Code will affect the MAFT Pro
Oh, This is a 7MGTE powered MK2 supra just to let you know.
ok...
Ok all, Before I get flamed. I understand how its connected between the turbo pressure port and the wastegate port.
My Question is for those (Like Myself) that are running External Wastegates and they are Dual Ports (Mean 2 Nipples instead of 1), How do you hook these type wastegates up to...
I ended up replacing the wiring harenss. Seems that I had some bad wiring somewhere in the harness. I unstalled the new one and as soon as I started it up, Everything started working as it should. A/F Levels never changed from then on.
You might want to look at that since you have done...
Basically Im trying to find out if there is any Difference between the 2. Reason is when I go out in the morning and start the car the first time, It starts up but Sputters and the Idle automatically goes from 700 to about 450-500 range (doesnt even raise up and then drop back down like it...
Nope, No access to anything here. Maybe I can Convience you to make me one if I cant get in contact with him. I think I emailed him a while back but he never returned my PM.
I dont want to cut the ISC flange off the upper intake and I hear that there is someone out there that has or can make these. Does anyone Know where I can source on of these Flanges so i can get it Tig welded to the FFIM that Im making.
thanks
Robert
I think Im getting down to the Problem now, Owner came over again today and we took it out for a test drive. As soon as we pulled but into my Garage, I popped the hood and I wanted to see how much Pressure there was on the cap. Well, I turned the car and some white Foam came out of the radiator...
autozone has one in there loaner tool department but they call it a block tester. U use it through the radiator also and it turns the fluid from Blue to yellow if it shows any signs of Exhaust gases.
Would this be what I need to Pick up to confirm our theory?
latest status... I went out today and started the car up to see how fast it warms up. By my watch, the Gauge started moving within 30 seconds of starting and was a full temperature about about 2 minutes without touching the gas. Not sure if this is relivant but I thought that it might mean...
A sealing Problem sounds about correct. Like I said, His temp gauge jumps up really Quick and if you touch the upper radiator hose after a minute or so with the Thermostat out, its already hot or very warm.
Ive heard this from others also that if your going to be running a MHG then you have...
