The wastegate never sees vacuum. Fletch is correct. Find a source of MANIFOLD vacuum/boost and the gauge will work properly.

While driving with my nice new boost controller, I hear a popping noise from the exhaust and the car bucks a little. I know that fuel cut is normally a BIG hit, then it builds boost again and another BIG hit. But this is different. What is happening is more "rapid fire," popping accompanied...

In your area you have a lot of shops to help you out. Off the top of my head there is 935Motorsports, Driftmotion, and Kaizen. All three have LOADS of 1JZ experience, and all three are authorized vendors here. Good luck!

No no, I triple checked all the hookups and it's cool. I think Rob is right. I'm going to turn everything back down and take it for a test drive at 30%. We'll see what happens now.
