Put a damn Interstate MTP battery in there and call it done. Never had an issue with mine after 2 years. Always starts damn strong, even after a week and a half of sitting.
Pull the door panels off, pull the plastic sheet back, and disconnect the motor. Take your battery and hook a wire from one prong of the motor to positive, the other to negative. If it doesn't go up, switch the leads around.
There.
Actually, the Ford Police Interceptor has a different intake, upgraded cooling system, and upgraded suspension.
But it's still the anemic 4.6L used in the standard Crown Vic. :biglaugh:
Yup. Pressurized the system at work today. Not a single hiss. I want to go to Blacktrax because they use a DynaPack like Bisimoto. Then maybe we'll see some "real" numbers.
So... I went and dyno'd the car today. This is what I learned:
1) Mustang dynos really ARE bullshit.
2) I am NEVER going back to that shop ever again
3) My AFRs are on target. :D
I need to set up an appointment with Blacktrax for a REAL dyno, now...
