I think you'll be fine with the fidanza. Just make sure the friction surface is in good shape before you stick a new clutch in.(Im sure you would anyway as you welded the clutch to it).
As far as I know, an 8 puck would be more drivable than say a 6 or 4 puck. Most 4 pucks I have ever seen are...
When I was 16, the sixth day I had my license, I got a ticket for street racing and 90 in a 45(automatic 6mos license suspension).. Luckily I got it dropped completely because I know a few cops. I think i've gotten 3 tickets total but they were all over 4 years ago and only 1 counted. I got the...
Civics don't weigh much so they don't need huge brakes..Especially with all the drag that body kit and airplane wing added. I don't think it would go fast enough to need the brakes, could just engine brake. lolol
You mentioned you're broke..Rebuilding it will be the cheapest thing you can do and don't even THINK about any JZ swap if you're broke. Chances are the swap would cost more than you paid for your car. I wouldn't even think about a 1jz swap.
Yea sure you may be able to find a 1jz engine on...
It's probably a combination of valve seals and the turbo. My engine uses a little oil but I have no blue smoke. I can, however, smell burning oil when I come to a stop if I engine brake or just exit off the freeway. From my experience, most turbos will burn a little oil.
Ok so my question is what car did the flat metal blade come on? I've seen a few people that have this and that's the kind I want. I don't want the cable with the little lead tip, I want a flat blade all the way down.
What is anyone's opinion about the strength of the roof on a targa car? My girlfriend seems to be concerned that if I were to roll my car, the roof would crush in because of the targa. I've told her im sure Toyota has reinforced the roof so such a thing would no happen, but im not really that...
Mine feels notch like normal. I run redline mt90 and have no problems going into any gear. As for reverse I push the clutch in and try again, if that doesn't work, going from 4th to reverse usually does the trick.
So the only problem you have is going from 3-2 not 2-3? Could be syncros..Like...
You cannot ditch the AFM by way of safc. MAFT-pro can do it however. Check the connections first. Make sure it's actually plugged up, make sure the wires arent corroded or anything. You can check the AFM per TSRM. If it still doesn't work just buy some used electronics from someone on here.
You can work around the water pipe. Just route the hoses the best way. T-stat housing just has an extra port on top for the evap BVSV. One line goes to bvsv and the other goes to the tb port.
edit: 1000 posts woot!
