    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Eh, stuff happens so ya just fix it and put 'er back together! I could complain about stuff but in reality I don't care about the fact it broke, it was waaaaaaaaaay too much fun driving around the track at Powercruise! Observe for yourself...

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Hooray! Didn't get much else, but this was a good Christmas :D Have to wait until Tuesday for the machine shop to open back up- need to get the valve seats ground for the bigger valves first, then it goes up to Cloud for the port work! (at the porter's suggestion) Got a new set of piston...

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

I see absolutely no reason you won't be able to light that off with the coils you have now. Trust me on that one :evil2: ninja: I also posted in the rev limiter thread, might be worth a read Ken ;)

Rev limiter on AEM? It has 2 rev limiters...? Please help!

Yep it does :) OK, so this is the way I do my rev limiters, and I copied the way my tuner set it up. Ignition cut is what I prefer to hit first (7400rpm) and then shortly after my fuel cut limiter if the engine somehow makes it past. Not sure if it matters, but I feel safer cutting ignition and...

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

I've heard that the V1 AEM is capable of running sequential ignition using the injector #10 pin, but I've never seen proof of it. :( If it has ben done, then WHOO HOO! (I've only ever seen it used in waste fire mode) I may try makeing it happen if I need more spark, since I have a couple wires...

They sent mine to the UofM for study- it had some kind of tumor in it :/

Where to get my r154 rebuilt?

Ah, same as my old one. Be aware, you may need to buy a new speed gear/synchro ring for the grind to go away. I went with a cheap used trans from a reputable source, otherwise a low-miles used may be a better option, but be sure to get one with the same options as yours (abs sensor is a biggie)...

Where to get my r154 rebuilt?

Meh, shipping isn't that bad imo. He should be able to show you the way to go with shipping as far as keeping it cheap. On that note- why do you need it to be rebuilt?

    Damn appendix

Now just imagine going under with the thought of it'll be laproscopy, then waking up and not being able to sit up due to the cut into my abdominal wall. 1 week in the hospital with a digestive system that was shut down, followed by 4months of 'light duty' work. I'm kinda special in that I have a...

    Damn appendix

Eh, most appendix removals nowadays are via laproscopy- in and out in a day. Pray that they don't need to 'look' for it; It can only end in tears.

Where to get my r154 rebuilt?

I don't know about any shops in Florida, but a vendor here (SpeedforSale) had an r154 rebuid special a couple months back- haven't heard any reviews about the rebuild, but might be worth looking into!

suprcharged supra but its not a 1uz

Yep, you've got it right! I haven't worked on an older Camry in quite some time so I wasn't sure on the exact dates/codes. Pretty close for being ~2/3 years since I saw under the hood of one :D Nobody bring the older ones into the dealership anymore :'(

Built engine installed but not running right. Need guru's help! *HD Video*

Looks like he's adapted a 1/2JZ intake manifold to his 7M. edit: and is using its original tps, not the 7M one Questions for OP: 1- is the TPS adjusted as close to the 7M's original setup as can be had? (follow the 7M repair manual and see if the signals match up. If not then you need to do...

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

Ah, I'm only kidding Ken. Blowing up an engine is just irritating to deal with; even if you have a ready-to-go replacement sitting at home. I know I didn't have that luxury :P GOGO fast-acting, long-lasting 7M!
