So it looks like i found what the squeak was from the lower part of my engine. Not rod knock (yes IJ.. lesson learned lol) but looks like the head of a bolt that was sheared from somewhere or place unknown..... was loose in the timing cover and ate/spun loose a metal ring behind the crank gear...

Spray it with crc electrical cleaner to make sure there's no oils on it then slip it on. I know the crc electrical is safe on plastics. just a thought

I got my new oil bolts and squirters yesterday and I just start to install them The second one threads in 2 threads then gets tight and breaks loose then won't thread in at all... FML I've never tapped before and I wasn't planning on taking out my crank... What's the best way to go about...

Yes!!! I will do dirty things for it..... I have used spray on aircraft paint remover and that stuff bubbles all other paint surfaces off but did nothing to the viton so I am verrrry curious to what this is. Pm sent :biglaugh:

I has the same problem as you which is why my motor is apart in my garage waiting on champion toy parts. My bearings were great and so was oil pump spec, shimming it anyways and new oil squirters hoping pressure will return. Curious to what you find out!

I just use simple green or wd-40 to ease things in depending on what it is since they are both usually right next to me when I'm working on my car.

What was it plugged with? And what part of the afm sensor mechanics stops functioning correctly when cleaned improperly?

I'm actually scrubbing mine right now. I've tried everything in the book from carb-brake cleaner,dot3 brake fluid, paint thinner, MEK, acetone, and standard lacquer thinner, lifteeze all paint/varnish/lacquer remover(fuckin burns skin!!) and the whole line of "Klean-Strip" products with shitty...

It's crazy cause after getting my engine from wherever the hell it came from(ebay), the coolant eroded so much of the banana shaped vents on the block and I can imagine inside. I wish I knew what had been ran in it. I plan on flushing it with water for now once it's back in my car then...
