    How much oil are we talking about? A little oil seems to be normal but if its pouring out of the IC you may have a problem elsewhere. Edit for spelling.. :) Thanks JJ

    I have chased leaks also. I finally welded 1/8 inch beads around all my IC piping and I replaced the rubber with 4ply silicone hose and T-bold clamps. No more leaks...

    The spring(10lb) is the stock boost level now with the boost contoller D/C. 10-19psi spring means stay within that range with your controller. With the waistgate disconected. Your boost should go to dangerously high levels. So no, I think it's your exhaust that is the bottleneck...

    Your new turbo flows more air now and your restriction is preventing it from spooling properly. IMO

    I gutted mine also however the (2) stock 2.5 inch 90 degree non mandrel elbows after the cat and before the muffler was a boost limiting restriction for me. I could not get past 12psi..

    Also, a clogged cat/precat or a restriction in the exhaust will limit boost( like the stock 2.5 inch cat and precat)..
