I keep stuff in the console, so the cup holder won't work unless I empty it. Even then the lid falls down onto the drinks cracking my straw causing a vacuum leak..:cry:

Don't hit stuff. Stop at the stop signs (for pedestrians) and then pull out in the street a bit to see traffic better. Look at your mirrors. Do the speed limit. Don't tailgate.

It is cool they are going to fix it for you. I know who ever replaced my clutch before I owned the car, forgot to reinstall the pilot bearing and this would let the disk drop down when the clutch was pressed in. Then when you let up, the disc is not centered and the top front and bottom rear...
Ok, I think the manual says on page FI-103 of the link above that you need use a .70mm and adjust the TPS untill there is continuity and you should be good to go on adjusting the timing... the bottom picture on page 103 shows where to insert the feeler gauge...

Again, I think what you said about your linkage problem is keeping the throttle open slightly. Make sure there is some play in the throttle cable itself..
Known rattles include some of the following:
Loose exhaust clamps and hangers
Loose manifold heat shields(not sure on N/A's)
Loose crank bolt/pulley
Broken lower timing gear flanges
But it is really hard to help with such a poor description. See if you can pin point the area of the...
Plus, if it does not start in 1-3 cranks, something is wrong...and your washing down the cylinders and rings..(if the injectors are pulsing)
