I don't think so because some of the valves and the pvc system will be open in the motor letting it leak. I personally took off the IC pipe at the 3000 pipe and plugged that end for testing too..
Then, I just visually inspected the 3000 pipe couplers for leaks. After so many leaks I ended...

But seriously, I think it is a matter of finding one with the least amount of flaws that you still get along with..

No, I don't believe you will see boost on the stock gauge when pressurizing the IC in testing. Your mainly just listening for leaks..
Inlet of the turbo will work and is much easier. :)

Code 11 is not supposed to light the "check engine light" when driving, if that is at all helpful?

Yes, LOL, I do not know how to explain it either when it comes to a digi meter?? Mine says (0L. Ohms) then deflects to (00.0 ohms)??

I am looking in my book and it references approx. 20 to 35 kv to conventional EFI , For distributor-less-Ignition it does not say.
Maybe Jetjock can shed some light on this.
