I agree, Check the battery for proper voltage and cranking amps..Also check the battery terminals for corrosion first.. A quick test to determine a bad starter is to have someone try and start the car for you while you lightly tap the starter housing with a hammer. If it starts cranking...

Just get your car warm to where you think it is overheating, then shut it off and move your hand around the face of the radiator looking for cold spots. If the temps on the radiator are uneven then yes it may be plugged. We need more info here though. How long does it take to over heat...

I would ask Jetjock, Sounds like everything is working as far as sensors and switches, I might guess the compressor is going bad. But this is just a guess.

Johnathan: When you sell a car, YOU have to send the bottom portion of the title in to the DOL within 15 days of the sale to let them know you are no longer the legal owner and not liable for the car after the date of the sale listed on the transfer slip. I always go with them to the DOL...
