i thought you could run aftermarket cams on stock valve train just as long as you don't rev higher than 8k rpms? or does that just depend on how big the cams are?
the cooling system shoudn't need to be upgraded and the 1jz has a built in oiler cooler. if your hp goals are 400hp a upgraded ct26 w/ the driftmotion manifold adaptors should do it
i was thinking about 12.XX a/r tuning in 4th gear at wot w/ 10 psi then bumping up after clutch is broken in. does it matter what gear to tune in? i thought tuning is suppose to be tuned in the gear closes to a 1:1 ratio? what should the a/r's be for daily driving? 14.XX's? and how do i adjust...
sorry i didn't see this so i sent you a pm, anyways i'm low on money and wanted to know more about it, i've seen it done on the dyno and have an idea of how the concept goes but don't know what the daily driving a/r's to be close to mayb 14.5:1. i think the full throttle a/r should be like 12:1...
