i used a cometic metal hg it worked really good, if you don't want a expensive metal hg i'd say get the cometic and you better run a metal hg to save yourself time and money. oo.... i don't know about anyone else but w/ my arp head bolts i torqued them down to like 90 or 95 ft-lbs
build the bottom block w/ like JE pistons and crower rods that will definitely hold some hp but the stock rods have held up to 600 hp that i have seen. just make sure you replace the pistons, they are the one of the weak points to the 7m. you shouldn't have to do much to the head mayb just a set...
to get that higher rpm power you would have to build the head like metioned w/ bigger cams and then get higher compresion to bring out the full potential of the cams
i was wondering if i could just buy the 2jzgte clutch fan and use the soarer fan blade instead of using both the clutch fan and the fan blade from the 2jzgte? i already have the 1jz soarer fan blade, will it fit the 2jzgte clutch fan?
from the looks of the compressor housing i don't think its a stock inlet bore, i don't remember my ct26 being that big but i could be wrong. what ct26 compressor housing do you think this is? 50, 57, 60-1?
now is this wastegate a stock wastegate or aftermarket...
if somthing goes wrong to your block i think the stock 2j rods will do just fine for your power goals, i believe the 2jzge rods hold up as much power as the 2jzgte rods
