I just realized I had only posted this on SupraForums when I bought it and not on here, so here goes...
Long story short... I started browsing SupraForums in 2003 and bought a maroon 1987 Turbo Targa 5-speed later that year. A few years later, I realized that I should get one that had an interior in great condition… so I traded/upgraded it for a white 1991 Turbo Targa Auto with an almost mint blue leather interior. It eventually needed an engine rebuild. I then converted it from automatic to manual transmission and modded it to 405rwhp. All fun stuff! But that was short-lived as I would soon move to Europe and left the Supra behind in 2008…
I had honestly always wanted to get a Black 1992 Turbo with a Shadow Grey interior. To me, this is the Ultimate MK3! I had been browsing used cars in Europe for about 8 months and then on Xmas Eve, I finally saw a completely stock 1992 Toyota Supra Turbo with Targa top, Black exterior, Shadow Grey/Black leather interior with only 42k original kilometers on it. (25k miles) It has an automatic transmission, but it checks all the other boxes so I jumped on it.
So since January, 17 years later, I’m again an MK3 owner and happy! (so far, lol)
