where exactly is the sensor mounted? it sounds like in the exhaust housing of the turbo?
anyways all cars are going to have different EGTs.....1600ish is where shit will start melting so you definitley want to stay away from that....
just an FYI the ground from the coilpack to the valve covers is just another example of overengineering from toyota...its NOT needed for the car to run perfectly fine.
sounds like cps wires or another ground as said before...make sure you have the ground from the back of the head to the...
i bought a set of diamond cut lenses off ebay about 3 years ago...got them for 25 bucks shipped for both.... it converts it from sealed beam to h4..... they came with bulbs that worked really well also but when they blew out i installed some sylverstars all the way around...heres a pic of...
hmmm youre way off in most of what you are saying lol....
first off a t4 turbo isnt specified to any certain turbine or compressor wheels....its simply called a t4 turbo because it has a t4 footprint flange which is used to bolt it to the manifold...there are many other flanges.

i actually very rarely use jackstands.... unless the car is going to be up for longer then like an hour or two i dont use jackstands....
and i use all the factory jacking points for the sides of the car and my "special points" for the front and rear...
are we talking actual mk3 hp or 7m hp? because the 7m powered drag car in malta made 1200rwhp...and i think they upped the setup and its at 1400 now....
IJ have you had any surging issues or have you heard of any surging issues with this turbo on the 7m?
i suspect with the large housing youre running you personally probably arent having a problem...but what anyone running like a .80 or less?

I was wondering what you guys did for a spacer to get a larger compressor housing to clear the runners.... it looks as though about an inch would suffice to clear it nicely...but the thickets t4 flange ive found to use as a spacer is only 1/2 inch and i was wondering if theres something else...
