heh...i didnt even mention the snapped flywheel bolt which caused me to change my clutch and pressre plate (upgraded ;) ), the blown stock turbo, blown 60-1 ct....and many other misc things broken heh.... heh.....why are you only my friend when you need something? :biglaugh: hahaha...

jake it looks like ACT to me... as for your future setup... i wouldnt use anything less then a rps 3200lb pressure plate for your setup..... you slap a weak pressure plate in there and whatever clutch disk you have will be slipping like crazy.... ask kelly ;)

no the struts arent the same.... i cant remember which is different though...the front or the rears...but one pair of them is different from the mk3.

as long as he has receipts and whatnot proving thats whats actually in there....sounds good to me...

get trader rating feedbacks like they have on SF and on my local board tamparacing.com you can click on them and they are public. they are ebay style almost directly. get those in here.

you need to figure out what exhaust flange is on it... like a 4 bolt or 6 bolt etc... find a matching pattern flange...and then weld a pipe onto it...done and done.

bolts=retorque studs= no retorque /thread

i dont care what anyone says... bolts stretch studs dont....thats why bolts require retorque and studs dont. get the studs they are only like 20ish bucks more.

if the timing belt snapped the crank would still turn...so would the crank pulley...which is what the accessory belts are attached to....so i dont think that would cause it....

could be the timing belt snapped...that would stop the car and wouldnt allow you to restart it..BUT i dont know why it would have the temp rise....
