For the fuel pressure: Clamp off the return line and retest, if it holds you know something in your FPR is wrong
If it still leaks down run the pump to get pressure, then clamp off the feed line and shut off the pump, if it holds, you know something downstream is the problem (fuel pump check...
I dont particularly like my N/A, but i dont dislike it enough to want to throw more money into the engine than the whole car is worth right now, so for now as long as it gets me to school and back, along with a little bit of style, im happy.
I used the same ones, but the cool white. Its about stock brightness, a little brighter maybe but it makes it look a lot more modern IMO. I didn't like the pale green much. If someone were to see it, they would think it was stock.
Ah, i see, but aren't the studs supposed to only go in finger tight though? Wouldn't you really have to crank them down to cause them to crack the block? Is it 100% necessary they be bottomed out in the hole?
If you look at the original she is the one posting it and finding it funny, she even tells you that you probably don't want to watch the singing and where you should skip forward to.
Why do you need to chase the threads with studs and not bolts? I would think it would be the opposite seeing how with the studs your turning torque isn't affected by the block threads.
Apparently mine is then. Every time i unhook the battery the car doesn't idle for quite a long time, it "idles" so low that it kills itself out if i don't keep my foot on the gas.
Every time i unhook my battery the car doesn't idle until i drive it for a while, it takes quite a long time until it wants to idle right, until it does i always have to have my foot on the gas. Just something to consider, the ecu has to re-learn every time you remove power from it.
Without a thermostat your warm up times will increase by a lot, if you ever reach fully warm that is... If you never reach operating temp, your car will run rich, you will get bad fuel economy, and you can cause unnecessary wear to certain engine parts.
I have the pre 89 GE dipstick, i dont know if it would be compatible with the turbo engine though because it is much shorter in length than those pictured in the previous posts
