I made a simple 2.5" for my NA with some pipe/flange from the exhaust shop and a couple mandrel bent U pipes from summit racing. If you can get the car on a rack and have a welder its cake. I used a vibrant muffler and with my NA its pretty loud, we will see how it is after i swap my turbo motor in.
I have a 2.5" catback that i made on my na right now, and its just not that great. The extra noise gets annoying after a while. Once you realize how much noise you are making and how little hp you are making, its embarrassing. Im perfectly fine with an NA, just leave it stock. Just my opinion.
