Theres the latest log, thats 1st through 5th in PSI and the bottom is RPM Still can't seem to get a steady boost line through the rev range, Im not sure if its me being picky, if it actually can be better, or if its just the nature of a crappy internal gate. Any tips? Also notice how only in...

Maft pro. dont shows actual VE table cell.

Check this site out...lots of info! http://www.turboninjas.com/supra/maft/

Maft pro. dont shows actual VE table cell.

The MAFT uses smoothing, and since you are rarely in one particular cell it highlights all the cells that the current value is being influenced or affected by. Basically the cells that the yellow highlight is hovering over are the cells influencing your tune at that particular point, and the...

Maft pro. dont shows actual VE table cell.

No it can't, since it doesn't have direct control over the injectors. You can look at the frequency output though, which is the airflow signal it is relaying to the stock computer. When did that version come out, do you have any idea what kind of updates are on it? I thought 5.22 was the latest :(

    MHG question

He is probably just not well informed, but he should take a hint that something is wrong having to go through this again. It doesn't matter that the block is cast iron, it can warp and it can get what they call brinelling where basically the head gasket cylinder sealing rings dig into the...

Maft pro. dont shows actual VE table cell.

OK i took a look at the CEL pid... it is very erratic and reads 0 most of the time, this sounds exactly like yours. I wouldn't bother using it, just open the VE table and enable ALDL tracing and adjusting the ve table is made simple.

OK the restrictor seems to have helped some, though it still spikes about 1 psi which I can handle. I will give it some more fine tuning when its not 95 degrees outside...:-/ Turns out the size of the fitting in the back of the control box is the same as the restrictor size, so I just put the...

Maft pro. dont shows actual VE table cell.

I have never really found that pid to be useful for anything therefore I never really paid any attention to it. I will take a look at mine and see what kind of readings it gives me next time i drive my car.

Maft pro. dont shows actual VE table cell.

Having ALDL connected and having tracing enabled are two different things. Tracing is the function that will highlight your current cell whether it be in the VE table or in the high/mid/low user tunes Your MAFT should show a number for CEL with the engine running, try updating the MAFT to 5.22...

Maft pro. dont shows actual VE table cell.

no problem! What version of TunerPro are you using, and what version are you running on the TranslatorPro unit itself? In TunerPro, there is a button right next to the DVFM buttons at the top, it looks like a graph with a red arrow, it will say "Enable/Disable ALDL Data Tracing" if you put...

Maft pro. dont shows actual VE table cell.

Your question is not very clear. Are you saying you cant find the VE table, are you saying that you see the VE table but TunerPro wont highlight the active cell, or are you saying all the cells show 0, and what are you talking about when you are saying it shows 65...it shows 65 where?

OK I'll try to get a hold of another restrictor somewhere or try the carb jet you mentioned. Common sense would tell me that a restrictor in the boost only line to the solenoid would even further delay the actuator from seeing boost pressure, creating a larger spike, is there something I'm...

EEK that could be a recipe for disaster! I am tuning with the MAFTPRO and the way my tune is now, it is relatively close to the stock fuel cut. The Turbosmart has a built in overboost protection, so that in the event of an overboost (whatever setting I input) it will cut off power to the...

Ok thanks for the good info. I was looking through my garage and found this fitting in the assortment of things included with the boost controller. There is no mention of what it is for in the instructions but I measured it and the orifice is about 70 thousandths. I threw it in there and took it...

Oh ok, I thought a restriction was used to increase response though, as the air velocity will increase? Im probably over thinking it. In the Eboost there are 3 major settings i can adjust. They are Set Point- Duty cycle % of the solenoid Gate Pressure- PSI at which the solenoid begins to open...

They claim that there is already a restrictor built into it for quicker response, but I have no idea what size it is. Should i still give it a shot? Where do you think i can get one, you think a bead from a craft store for necklaces would do the trick?

    shimming oil filter relief valve

Does anyone know much/have any experience with the greddy thermostat units? They seem convenient because the thermostat is built in to the housings. Heres two examples This one just needs a filter adapter, lines, and a cooler, seems kind of handy for a clean setup...
