Yup, a stock SS will walk all over you in a straight line. If this guys really making 400hp at the wheels you've got some work in store for you. The power curve of the LS1 really doesn't have a downside. It's got lots of low end torque, and still pulls hard up top.

re-torque'd mine to 75ft lbs. on stock bolts.

You think more than 10% of 7M's on this site are 500+whp?? There's thousands of members here, most with 7M's, and how many are making over 500hp... 5, 6? It's meant to be an elite group, why would you want half the Supra's in the world to all have a showcase?

400 can be done on LexAFM and an upgraded CT-26. 500 requires actually opening the engine up. Aftermarket turbo and fuel system. It wouldn't be much of a site if there were 20 people running 550's and SAFC at 420whp. My vote's at 500. This is the level were people really are sticking out...

We built a Factory Five Cobra in my school. There's alot of mustang gutting involved. If you had a foxbody with good suspension/brake/steering/ and driveline components, but got bored with the mustang. I think it would be the perfect project. There should be holes there that line up with the holes in the top of the license plate. Only the top two screws are needed. Is this a stock front bumper?

I didn't get the ceramic coating and mine has had no discoloration, no spots, no rust(and I live in New England) and plenty of use in the rain.:dunno:
