All i was trying to do was check the oil. So i had to ditch that idea until somebody else comes home and then i am going to try to have them hold the latch while i attend to the hood. What makes me mad is i was excited to pop the hood because i just got new hood struts. Now i cant get it up :3d_frown:

LOL, Aaron...What the hell, man.

!!!!!

You can keep that tri-pod, BTW. I'm just going to buy another one...I get them for like $11.

Explain though, exactly WHY your hood is stuck shut. I'd like to hear this one. Please tell me there's some sort of story behind it.... :x:

Ok this is what I do cause im stuck in the same boat as u. Make a fist turn it sideways like yur gunna hit a buzzer for a gameshow, then hit yur hood in the middle where it feels as it is hollow. If thaT doesnt work spray WD40 on the hook then try step one agian.

Orr...you can just forget to latch your hood completely even though it looks latched, go test/tune your car 15 minutes before leaving for the Ohio Supra meet, and while driving 60mph down a road, let it fly up on you, crack your windshield, dent your roof and bend your hood in half so that you don't/won't/DIDN'T get to drive to Ohio.......:nono:

***I hate talking about that....****
