    Electric vs. Mech gauges.

Just remember to get a wideband a/f, not narrowband if you're using it for any tuning. Narrowbands are known for just being an inaccurate "lightshow"

    Electric vs. Mech gauges.

Yes, and usually, unless you're buying used, and the original owner didn't include it. I've never heard of a gauge being sold without the sensor. Edit: The nicer "peak and hold" gauges such as Defi, Nexus... You will need to buy a control unit, which they all plug into, then you wire the...

    Electric vs. Mech gauges.

Electric when it comes to any types of fluid. I'd never run coolant, oil, or fuel through my firewall, into into my dash. I'll let those stay in the engine bay, and run a nice wire into my gauges. I ran a mechanical Apex-i boost gauge last year and it worked great. Simplest hook-up ever...

what was parked no less then 15 feet from my car at work NO 56K

I'd love to drive one, but I'd feel like I was scraping my ass on the pavement. I saw one going into a storage unit across from Kasey Kahne's shop last week. The guy was cool, but didn't let me drive it:icon_conf haha.

I usually have some 2x6's laying around that I can just drive up onto for low clearance issues. Craftsman Aluminum here.

    Domestic vs. Imports

But everyone's already done that to an LS1... More fun in a 7M.:naughty: It's not always about who can be the cheapest.

    Domestic vs. Imports

Couldn't agree more. I had a 3rd gen Camaro and my two friend's have had 6 Iroc's between the two of them. I love the look of a clean one.

    Domestic vs. Imports

I don't see how you complaining about the cost of an import vs. domestic has anything to do with Doward's statement. You have a TA that was cheap to buy, probably not expensive to keep running, but won't last very long beating on it. How is that much different than a MKIII Supra? How does...

    supra vs ls1 camaro

Oh man that sucks, my '01 specs don't match up to that website either. It also gives the '02 as having the lowest torque rating of all 3.

    supra vs ls1 camaro

"1524 kg / 3360 lbs" for the 98, first year the LS1 SS was introduced. the 2001 is listed as "3300 lbs | 1496.9 kg" I just hope the guy you're racing is a bit fatter than yourself, the weight difference might be a bit closer.

Tell them they're cheap. Then walk away and stop associating with people that ignorant.
