are you talking about these bushings (and the other 4 closer to the front of the car)?
If so, douse the perimiter of the bushing with penetrating oil and let soak. There is a retaining ring which can be unbolted and removed (on the front four for sure) and from there, grab your trusty air...
sadly, no...lower control arms, because I couldn't get new bushings for them seperately. My uppers are still in good shape front and rear, just got new bushings for them.
Yeah, they were one vehicle I didn't think I would see over here.
Today I actually saw a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 diesel crew cab over here, right hand drive too. It also looked like a monster truck - I'm just off Fraiser Island in Hervey Bay so i'm sure it is being used properly...(Just got...
ok, ok...I don't have any pictures but currently, the flywheel and spec pressure plate are being machined and I am looking for a good full face clutch disc (spec stage 3 is worn too far to warrant throwing back in). We're also looking into getting the transmission re-built (or doing it...
Weird to read this...I am currently in Airlie Beach, heading for Fraiser Island in a couple days...
Where did you do the rally school? It looks like it would be a damn good time. As for the vehicles here, spending 3 months in Sydney I got to see a great deal of "different" vehicles. Lots of...
hmm...well, I am in Airlie Beach, Australia right now, soon to be in Melbourne until April...so nothing really until then, except for maybe some refinished parts pictures in the near future

it is really not that difficult...think 30 minute job even for the inexperienced. Don't be afraid to unplug anything from the cluster, each plug has a dedicated mating plug.
I thew in champion plugs, and under light deceleration, the #1 plug insulator fractured and made its way through my turbo, thankfully, with no damage. I wouldn't run champions again, sure they may be used in avation, but I have a feeling that products manufactured for aviation may have to meet...
In a couple months (when I return home from overseas) I will be reassembling my car after its paint/bodywork adventures. Prior to teardown, I beleive my car had some grounding issues, as my voltage was often unstable, which lead to things like my fuel pump (walbro) under-performing at idle...
sorry to break it to you, but you are fucked.
I had this same thing happen when I ripped apart my rear end (and front end) The bolts would seize inside the bushing, and no amount of penetrating oil (applied daily with impact wrenching for soak in for one week), hammering, or torquing would...
