Bumper cover is hiding the damage, but yeah, that's pretty common in a rear end collision to get a crumple in the side.
Insurance adjuster might try to lowball you and say that isn't from the accident. Just don't sign your life away!

Sure, I could slap something together, but I have high standards and don't like cutting corners, especially if I'm going to sell them.
It's all to trick the computer, the issue is the timing curve is going to be way off (plus who knows if the sensor or ECU will function at such a low flow.
