I have the same coilovers, I "broke them in" on 10 then backed them back to 20. I would say your gonna have to adjust to taste, IIRC I read your supposed to adjust each side the same.
Too much fuel can also give a gray/dark gray apperance.
You can see it pooling in your muffler, any wicked fireballs?? What does your WB have to say?
You sure its not coolant in your muffler...white smoke too eh?
Could be the fan moving air and it appears to start smoking more. Make sure the oil lines aren't leaking and run it to burn off any oil on it from the swap. If it's still smoking after a drive, your prolly leaking somewhere.
Interesting thread, I must say...
A easy way to get rid of flat spots, burn em off, and get rid of those pizza cutters lol. Good to see some more :canada
WOW...never heard of that before.
Of course its gonna be slow, its a NA, with a restrictive exhaust, low comp pistons, and a ECU that has no clue whats going on LOL....and your code 14 prolly doesn't help.
Oil can still get from the turbo to the exhaust, not to mention OVER SPIN THE FUCK...
Well were gonna have to agree to disagree, maybe..maybe if its extremly hot(yes I know, turbo) it'll burn whitish, but I think it'll have a blue/gray tinge. Can anyone atleast confirm that the smoke in that vid is blue, or am I totally colour blind?
AjWit: Since it sounds like your going on a...
I would work on your code 14, but I can't tell you where to start:icon_frow
And from what I can see in that vid that smoke is blue, not white, white is coolant.
I would also invest in a timing light.
Ok, that looks blue to me, least its not coolant. With that much oil you'd think you could literally see it streaming out. As for your oil pressure as long as it goes up when you rev it I wouldn't worry to much. Specs are in the TSRM.
EDIT: Whats that little filter/breather for? Vented BOV...
Yah my idle bounces around 14-15, and about 16 lean cruise;) thats fuel economy. My engine also pulls 25in/hg, maybe that has to do with GE pistons, and valve lash in spec.
I would say your AFR's are right on the button so I wouldn't worry about that. But the vacum seems a little low.
Pretty sure it's no axial play, minium radial play.
How are you getting engine oil in the AFM, that blows my mind. As jdub stated, I would be looking at the oil feed/return lines. The turbo I bet has nothing to do with it. Infact I would do everything jdub stated;) Boost leak...
