no worries, this thread sure went to hell.. cant help but not feel bad for the OP though, research is everything. I've grown to the point of loving it, I was on these boards every night after class or work for months before finally starting my 1jz project and I had maybe 5-10 minor questions...
Coming from boosting VQ motors back in the nissan days all we trusted was the EMS, stinger and Emanage Ultimate.
Greddy EU really was the favorite of the forums though and those few that have them wired correctly for the JZ series say that little rival the system.

yeah your symptoms sound very similiar to a local guy when he blew his twins on his rb26, same thing happened.. no boost, engine ran fine. his ceramic blades came out his exhaust though when it happened..
To my knowledge the JZX and JZS were front sump. JZA and JZZ were mid/rear sump.. IIRC
so out of curiosity, what chassis had the mid/mid? Perhaps it was a 2J powered car I left out as I'm not as familiar with all the chassis it came in.

Dude fippage is the best stuff on the planet, the guy that did my swap has used it for years and it really is amazing.. Kinda like Toyota Red for those of you that know :biglaugh:
