Auto tranny line bolt size and pitch

The Trans Case I believe. But if you know both the case and adapters IJ, that would be great to cover all bases. I looked in the TSRM and didn't see it in there. Thanks.

Auto tranny line bolt size and pitch

I am working with a performance shop around modding my mk3, including an external automatic tranny cooler. They are making me stainless lines to/from the cooler and the question they had that I couldn't find the answer to is: What is the bolt thread pitch and bolt diameter/size of the line...

Switch to Synthetic = numerous leaks

So an entirely new CPS unit does not include this this internal seal for the shaft assembly? Also, what are the long-term repercussions for not changing this right away if this is the issue?

Switch to Synthetic = numerous leaks

Thanks for the tip. I'll check in that area for the sensor. The TSRM doesn't call for it to be removed for any reason in changing the CPS, but it's definitely where I'll look first. I'll double check to see if a new O-ring went in the new CPS. The TSRM calls for it, and my buddy at Toyota...

Switch to Synthetic = numerous leaks

Thanks for the quick reply Jdub. The motor was a "refurbished" crate motor from Jasper. I had the head rebuilt with new seals when the headgasket was installed over the summer (worked on/installed by Toyota). The head job I had done b/c I decided to start turning up the PSI etc etc. This is when...

Switch to Synthetic = numerous leaks

I have a new motor with 10k miles on it now. Car and most mechanical components have 120k miles on it. Just made the switch to synthetic, and I'm seeing lots of slow, small oil leaks. Using about a 1/4-1/2 cort (spelling) every 500 miles or so. Motor has 2mm hks and arps, all new valve, and...

    Supra from hell.

I knew a guy :naughty: that ran from blue lights in the mirror...but only when getting away wasn't an issue, which in the backroads of NH....not too hard....not that I know :sarcasm: But if you are pulled over like that guy, or if they turn quick enough and get a good look...or if you're in an...

    Rough Idle, stalling etc

Okay, took apart the ignition coil pack, number 1 (brand new) wire is all chewed through from the cover rubbing on it i would expect. The 3 plugs that run to the ecu were also in pretty rough shape, all breaking as I removed them. I've got these on order and hopefully put it all back together...

    Rough Idle, stalling etc

Hey I have a GTE with BPU's running 10.5psi on BC. New plugs/wires. When I had the car last serviced by Toyota, they mentioned that my distributor seals were gone and that it will eventually not start or die on the road due to oil getting into the ignition coil. I'm not the most engine...

    91 Sup vs V-Dub

The R-33 looked nice. We have a few of those in our club network as well. They do well on the hillclimb and autocross. Great platform to build on of course...it is a skyline afterall.

MK3 Sitings in Concord, NH Black and Maroon

I promise I won't keep posting these sitings...but I'm just so excited because Supras in NH are rare. I see more Stang GT500's/Vipers/Ferrari's in NH than I do Supras. Anyhow...black supra in Concord on Loudon Rd. with big fin on back. Looked like a pre 89 with some bpu's by the sound of it...

MK3 Sitings in Rochester & Manchester NH

Hey witmore. I'm down in Durham once in a while, I work out of the IOD office at UNH. Do you know of a girl there who drives a white mk3 turbo...it's painted (no black accent strips on side). I ran into the mechanic working on it...at Dunkins lol...he said he was "checking to see if it's okay."...
