    Slipping Clutch Diagnosis (PICS)

Yeah, don't cut the flywheel inserts, you replace them. Everything looks pretty good (outside of your pilot bearing looking like it's on it's way out), so you caught it early. I'd contact them and see what they have to say as the clutch disk definately looks fishy.

Police perception amongst the general public.

I find my perception is based off traffic cops and not what I refure to as "real" cops. City I lived in had a fleet of motorcycle cops just to write speeding tickets (where hired specificly to do it to increase revenue), and their cruisers were marked "Traffic Enforcement." The "real" cops...

    Targa top problem.

Drive with a towel in your lap? Most of the time the leak is caused from a leak between the drip rails and the targa top itself, the issue is removing the seals usually ends up in them self destructing...

    The Great Tool Debate

Tools are tools. Hell, I use a LOT of Stanley stuff because it's cheap and made in the same factory as many of the tools that cost much more. There really aren't that many factories that make them, but they're all different brands and some have different features. For example, Snap-On open...

It's mostly a mute point, as they don't even need to be there. Most braces are major overkill for the application. Got a pic somewhere of a single cross brace setup...

Yes, you're done making yourself look like an idiot. The gussets would only work in the way you think if they were too straight bars overlapping eachother like on scaffolding, not meet at the intersection. Not to mention the twisting force is 90 degrees to the gussets making them worthless in...

    New Michelin Tires

Been around for years, they handle better than normal tires. Don't worry about closing the sides off, you're not going to get rocks stuck in there (if you have low profile tires and a large wheel, you're just as likely to get crap in the wheel, and it doesn't happen). Ass mentioned, the big...

The gussets are on the front and back, not the sides where they should be. The front too mounting points won't be moving in relation to eachother, there is no stress there. Same with the back.
