I probably will end up buying another MK3 for that reason plus I want to have a nice MK3 street car again. Even though the 2J car is technically a street car it is pretty gutted, no AC etc. I wouldnt mind building a 7M with a pair of GT30R's

I have a thermal arc also. its a great machine thats loaded with features and its nice how small and compact they are.

All this 7M talk makes me want to yank the 2J outa my car and go back to my 7M roots :biglaugh:

I feel sorry for the guy who has to sit down and weld that up. Hes going to be there for a while. Looks like alot of work going into that mani. Cant wait to see the finished product. this has definately been my favorite builds to watch. :bigthumb: keep up the good work.

more progress today. got the manifold finished got the downpipe and wastegate pipe done and the mid pipe is almost done but i need to go pick up another flange. I did the slash cut on the wastegate pipe for extra style points :naughty: Hope Lan is happy with the end results :x:

The car is now at my house and under the knife. Had to modify the manifold for the wastegate to clear the motor mount. Over all the manifold is pretty nice. the runners seem nice and thick so it should be pretty durable. Fitment isnt the greatest since you have to lift the motor up to get it...

I should be getting quite a bit done in the next couple of weeks so ill try to keep the updates coming. The car will definately be getting new paint and wheel prior to vegas though.

originally I was running a Turbonetics cast manifold and a 3.5 in DP but I switched to a tubular mani and 4 in set up, also switched my haltech e6K out for the e-11

I originall had planned a big turbo 7M buils and had all the bits and pieces at the time ( built head, VPC, etc) but my car got broken into in front of my house and was stripped of about 5K in parts of which my insurance company covered.
