Its cool man. sometimes its hard to tell since you cant type a tone of voice. As far as the copying issue goes lets not forget that the CFX wasnt the first block off plate nor should it be the last.

Im not in any way knocking Duane on this but honestly what the hell does him coining the term " blockoff plate" have to do with anything. Would it help if he called it an intercooler air guide, oh wait ARC already calls theirs that. I wonder what YSR called theirs for the MK3.

just a minor update. I installed my water pump and housing all fresh and bead blasted with new seals, gasket and new toyota bolts. I even went ahead and welded on a -6 an fitting with a cap instead of just capping the unused nipple with a cheesy rubber cap that would probably leak at the worst...

I go to Olympic coatings here in escondido. They are very fair pricewise and they always do a good job. I use them for all the projects that i do.

No i dont powder coat the parts myself. I send it out to a local place that does it.

Here are some new pics i took today. Im waiting on a few o-rings and gaskets so i can put the water pump and housing back on. Dont mind the nast looking strut bar mounts, I somehow lost the greddy bar so ill have to make a new one and powder coat the mounts black.

there are a handful of 2JZ swaps running around. If you look in the build up gallery you can find mine as well as Ron R's builds.

Im going to try and start it this weekend but i dont know if it will make it to the BBQ. I hope so but i cant even find the liscense plate anymore so ill have to get new ones and they definately wont be here in time. Ill try my best though.
