I don't think the spring and valve help very much if at all but i will hook up the pressure tester again and check it. what else should i do?

tested the oil pressure today 7psi hot idle and 33 psi at 3000 rpm. I ordered the spring and valve and they gave me the oil pump ones... then they told me the springs was the same as the oil cooler one is this true? so i am getting that spring and the right valve tomorrow and ill install it...

Hey another New Hampshire supra owned! I used to go to advance, but the people that work there are so dumb they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near cars or car parts. So i go to auto zone now since they can usually get me the part i ask for the first time for the same price.

i don't think you should change oil to bring it up you might have other problems like me! on topic, i searched about the relief valve and found that on a cold start and cold idle the oil cooler should never get warm. is this true? because mine does get warm. so should i get a new spring from...

quick question..it may be a dumb one.. do i have to drain the oil to put a mechanical gauge in?

i paid 2k then within a month spent 3k on repairs so maybe you'll do better paying more in the beginning!

i literally loled at your first comment. i am using Pennzoil 5w-30 (i think that's the grade?). I did the hard break in i read about on this site with the high vacuum pulls and oil changes every 12 feet. I will try to see what i can do about the relief valve. would you recommend i get a new one?

OK i will do that asap. i am gonna be unhappy if it has anything to do with engine internals since i just payed 3000 for an rebuild and im already a little unhappy with the turnout.

im not that much of a dumb ass... i will try to find a gauge but if this gauge is accurate should i not drive it until i figure out what it is?
