If you have a stock afm on, just play with the boost until you hit fuel cut, then dial it down a notch so that you don't hit it when you go under WOT. Fuel cut will vary depending on your altitude, mods, and environment temperature. Typically, with these in mind, I've seen and had everything 8...

Good point. I plan on running the safety shut off sensors & system with my meth, so if anything happens, the boost controller shuts down, or wastegate dumps boost...

This is a good suggestion. I know he's tuned meth before for the Hondah's & Ev-oh's...but his specialty is supras...but mostly with race fuel and E85 from what I know. I'll have a chat with him and let you know what he says.

Okay, I almost got cold feet reading IJ's warnings...but after reading everyone's info...and hearing a lot of reassurance about meth injection from the local guys, I'm going to still take the plung in the spring...all my tuning will be done by a professional on a dyno...so here's hoping. Thanks...

sounds like you'll have an almost exact setup to what I have. I've got my fuel pressure set to 28, and the screw all the way out. Running 10-11 a/f under wot with 14-15psi of boost. I suggest start with screw all the way in and fuel pressure at 30. Back out the screw full turns and monitor your...

Just to clarify, make sure you just bypass the radiator altogether to the external cooler. Mounting an external cooler under the driver headlight is pretty easy, here is a pic of mine mounted with the bumper off: Tranny Oil Cooler w/ electric fan mounted under driver headlight

Meth lowers a/f ratios, allow boosted cars to increase boost beyond what they could do w/o meth, avoiding detonation (to a point). You can get the same effect by advancing timeing (as said above), but you won't get nearly the return for your investment w/o a supercharger/turbocharger...

It doesn't matter... One suggestion if you do get an a340e is to buy one out of a 1j cressida or 1J supra. I hear they are slightly more beefy than a 7m motor tranny...

+2 o2 wideband before safc I would also recommend looking into other piggybacks than the safc...it's limited in what it can do for you...
