I'm in the midst of building a Plug-N-Play harness to go from the 1JZ engine harness to my Megasquirt. I will be routing the 1JZ harness through the OEM harness hole (LHD) and was wondering how close it reaches to the OEM ECU location? I need to know so I can go ahead and cut all of my wiring...
Not being a smartass, just figured a guy that's singled and EMS'd his JZ motor would know where the EFI fuse is. Also, I'm pretty sure the TSRM lists fuse locations...just FYI. :)
Could also test voltage across the EFI fuse and on the + wire going to the fuel pump.
- Check your fluid levels...if low, add fluid
- If you're nearing an oil change, do it before the trip
- Lube the chassis where applicable
- Check all your exterior bulbs, replace where needed
- Check tire pressures, fill if needed
I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but those are the more...
I've read the whole thread, but don't think I saw anything about taking the alternator off and taking it into a shop to test...??
If you're only reading 12V at the + stud on the alternator while the car is running, the alternator is DEAD.
That's f'd up and all, but WTF. "Public indecency" seems to be an oxymoron in this case...wasn't he in the privacy of his own backyard?? And yet, the neighbour who *videotaped* this man doesn't receive any punishment for invading his privacy. Thumbs up for modern gov't and judicial systems...
