1JZ swap, yes. I already have the harness run through a hole I cut below the speedo cable and will be using the 7M harness hole and speedo cable hole (VSS sensor for custom dash) for routing sensor wires for the other gauges.
Looking for the diameter of the 7M Engine harness hole and Speedo Cable hole. Need to order some block-off grommets and my car is 1000km south from me. :(
If anyone has the time to do this, I'd really appreciate it.
You definitely won't need dual Bosch 044 pumps to reach 600whp, one will suffice.

Did you undo the front swaybar?
If you're slipping all the way down the track, maybe the rears need to be heated up even more so during the burnout.
Maybe look into adding something that will give you a 2-step.
Understood.
I'm sure it'd be quick and easy to set a few degrees positive camber with those Beech Performance suspension arms?
I'll go with sticky tires, disconnected front sway bar and 2-step. :)
If you're trying to prevent squat, why do they say to disconnect the front sway bar (promotes weight transfer)?
So, all I'll need are sticky tires and leave the TEMS to do it's thing?
It's probably my flawed logic at work here, but I was thinking that extending the shock/spring combo would effectively make the spring "softer". Essentially, I'm looking for a way to soften the rear spring without actually swapping it out...doesn't seem possible from the sound of it. LOL
It...
Since I'm close to finally completing my 1JZ swap, I've been thinking about drag racing again and how I should setup the car while maintaining streetable-ness. Here is my proposed setup, any and all feedback is appreciated:
- RX7 rims in rear with 26x10.5 MT ET Streets OR 15x8 Welds with...
Sounds like I'm having the same issue. The hood will not "pop up" when you pull the lever. I figure it's an issue with the rubber bumpstops under the hood (have to raise them up).
Ct26turbo, I can take more pics if it's really needed, but I'm not sure what else needs to be shown?
Oh I definitely will. Need to get all Prosport gauges painted black (currently silver/gray) and wire them up! BTW, the Speedhut speedo has turn signal and high beam leds built in!
