true, you did run faster on slicks than I managed with a slipping clutch and radials. Dont worry, I will have a proper tire on the car and the clutch issues sorted by Vegas. I think the SILV drag trophy will look nice on my desk. You guys could always battle for fastest 7M though...
All I need to be happy is a field of quality competition. Which includes you boys up north so make sure you make plans to get your shiny "SHOW" car down here to see if it "GOES". And dont worry about quality parts and tuning. Ive got plenty of both. :burnout:
Better hope that Exedy twin is up to the task. I still havent had a chance to run my car on kill because mt Exedy gave up after a few passes on only 600rwhp.
Very true. Having the 2J doesnt make the car fast, but it does insure that Ill be able to pull around after my runs and go again rather than be pushed on the trailer:biglaugh:
Ill be looking forward to dissapointing whoever wants to step up:evil2:
On a more serious note I would like to know what the rules will be for the MK3 class. Will the 2J's be allowed, slicks or radials, how many power adders etc...
I sure hope some of you Canada boys plan on coming down:canada
Dont worry, Ill be taking the trophy this year guys.:icon_bigg Oh, thats right the MK3 class is scared of the 2J so ill have to run with the MK4's I guess.:sarcasm:
Those will not work. Those are for the 14mm o-ring Bosch injectors that the SP rail uses. You need the Spacers from HKS that are for the Denso 11mm o-ring injectors. They are $70 from HKS. I ordered mine thru MVP. You should buy my Haltech set up for your car while your at it. Its complete with...
The drag racing scene is pretty dead around here since there are so few tracks nearby and the streetracing scene is almost nonexistant so I am going to start road racing the car. Thats why Im making all the changes ( motec, smaller turbo, fuel cell etc...)
Thankfully it wont be down for long this time. I wont be pulling the haltech out until the new Motec harness is done, complete with a cannon plug on the firewall. My buddy who wires up race cars is doing it for me this time so it will be a good bit cleaner than my current harness. picked up the...
Ok, time for another update. I managed to take the car to the track back in November of 07 and ran an 11.6 @ 128 mph on 17 in street radials with the clutch slipping badly. The car has been sitting in the garage since then as ive been too lazy to pull the tranny out to be rebuilt and get a new...
