mine works now, but the shocks are blown. if i had $1000 or more, i'd get some good coilovers, but $475 for b&g's with blues sounds ok. i've seen a few posts that say NOt to use lowering springs with the blues......... will they blow out with lowering springs? if not, i think that's the way i'm...
yeah, the blues are about $200 less that the whites. is it worth keeping the tems, or will it handle good enough with the blues? i don't mind spending more if it will actually be better.
thanks.......
that's what i was thinking, but i'm not sure about the quality of an $800 set of coilovers. also, i don't want to slam the car, just lower it about 1.5 inches all around.
i'm in the market for some suspension upgrades and had a couple questions. i know this has probably been asked before, but i couldn't find any answers.
first, i see a lot of people going with tokico's and lowering springs..... are the tokico's illumina's that much better than the blues or...
you know you're a supra owner when..............
you're on the computer at midnight trying to find the best deals on springs and shocks.......................
thanks for merging the posts. i was hesitant to change the booster only because the issue is with the front brakes only. i figured if it was the booster, it would affect the rears as well. at this point i'm going to do the booster.
i just installed new struts. get the hatch end on first, then just have someone open the hatch a little higher so you can get the bottom part in. i did mine myself, so it can be done.
hello all. i'm still having some brake issues with my 90 supra.
long story short....... i was getting an intermittent hard pedal after driving a while, but it wasn't a big deal. for the last month or so the pedal would get hard AND the front wheels became hard to turn. if i let the car sit...
inner tie rod end,
alignment
driftmotion braided p/s line
new taillight gaskets
drove it home and got pissed that the front brakes are not releasing :(. i have new braided lines and front calipers to put on tomorrow. :)
i ordered the hatch weatherstripping and tail light gaskets from the dealer. :(
i also painted my new front calipers and talked to a local mk3 owner about buying his boltons. :)
took all the interior parts out of the hatch area to find a water leak. cleaned her up a bit, and went for a drive.
contemplated putting on all my new parts, but got lazy. :(
i understand about the tail light seals, but they won't let water leak ABOVE them. i'm going to lay in the trunk and have the wife spray the car with the hose. i'll find the leak one way or another.
thanks for the suggestions guys.
i thought i had the problem fixed when i sealed the wing and replaced the grommets on the hatch itself. this morning i found the spare tire area full of water, and it was dripping from the interior hatch cover. is there anywhere else that i might have missed? is it common to need the rear...
